our floor

Since we bought our house Jeremy and I have wanted to replace the carpet because it was so gross. Well when we got our tax return we decided to do so. So when they kids and Jeremy went to bed i got to work, I moved the couch and started ripping up the carpet. The carpet came up with no problem but the pad was sooooooo stuck that i had to use a hula hoe to get it up. 

Here Jeremy is trying to get the pad up it was the last we had to do before Jeremys parents came out.

and then our beauiful floor. :) it took them all day long just to do the living room and hallway. Before we can do our office we have to move the outlets up on the wall. I am going to ask my friend Threasea to see if she could possibly come help us with that since shes so handy :)
